Denim Day
Start Date:
Wednesday April 29th 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Description:
Denim Day is an international awareness campaign that challenges victim-blaming and harmful myths about sexual violence. In collaboration with Office of Fraternity and Sorority Programs, SAPHE will host a tabling event where students can decorate denim clothing in recognition of the campaign and its message of survivor support. Participants are also encouraged to bring gently used denim items, which SAPHE will collect and donate to the New Orleans Family Justice Center. Please contact Emma Gombos at egombos@tulane.edu at least two weeks in advance of the event if you have accessibility needs and need a disability-related accommodation to participate.
