Biography
Marissa brings a variety of experiences to our team, and we’re excited for their future contributions. Marissa began her career as the Graduate Assistant for Fraternity and Sorority Life at Texas A&M University - Commerce, where she served as the Primary Advisor for both the Interfraternity Council and Multicultural Greek Council and the Order of Omega Advisor. While there, they focused on community education and leadership development of the members as well as large-scale programs for the community. After graduating, Marissa served as the Coordinator of Greek Life at Louisiana State University, where they served as the Primary Advisor for the Panhellenic Council and developed ongoing curriculum design, facilitation, and assessment for Greek Life programs. Most recently, Marissa served as a College Navigator at Baton Rouge Community College, where she assisted students in identifying the best options for graduation and matriculation.
Marissa is a proud member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She has served as a volunteer for Phi Gamma Delta, Delta Delta Delta, the Association of Fraternity and Sorority Advisors, and American College Personnel Association. Her Top 5 CliftonStrengths include: Input, Achiever, Futuristic, Learner, and Communication.
